The Audit Committee audits the Treasurer's books each year following the October meeting and reports at the November meeting. |
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees are responsible for the administration of the Cecil County Fire/EMS Equipment Replacement Program initiated by the Cecil County Board of Commissioners Resolution adopted the 15th day of November, 2005. The Board of Trustees will consist of a primary and alternate from each of the 9 member companies of this Association. Appointments will be for a one year term. Names of persons selected by their fire company for service will be submitted to the Secretary of the CCFA at the November meeting. The Board will select from its primary members a chairperson, vice-chairperson, and a secretary. The Board of Trustees may be directed by the CCFA to administer and advise on other programs or matters of importance to the CCFA. |
Budget
The Budget Committee consists of a chairman and one representative of each company and prepares a budget request to be submitted to county government. |
ByLaws
The By-Laws Committee will be responsible for the periodic review of the CCFA Constitution and by-laws document. The Committee presents recommended additions, amendments or deletions to the CCFA membership. |
Chief's Committee
The Chief's Committee consists of a Chief as chairman and the Chief of each company (or designee) to meet monthly to consider all matters pertaining to fire and rescue service and to make recommendations to the Association. The Fire Police Subcommittee addresses Fire Police.

Communications
The Communications Committee considers all matters pertaining to communications and makes recommendations to the Association. |
Credentials
The Credentials Committee examines all applications for membership and reports their findings to the Association before an applicant can be voted upon and admitted to membership. |
Education and Certification
The Education and Certification Committee consists of a representative from each company to coordinate training programs in conjunction with MFRI and MIEMS. The chairman is responsible for pre-registration and forwarding required information to the regional director of MFRI. |
Emergency Medical Services
The Emergency Medical Services Committee considers all matters pertaining to EMS and makes recommendations to the Association. |
Fire Science
The Fire Science Committee is responsible for the guidance of its members and fire companies. It acts as liaison to the Board of Education for the Fire Science Program in cooperation with the Board of Education of the Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute (MDRI) and the Cecil County School of Technology. |
Legislative Matters
The Legislative Matters Committee looks into all matters of law and legislative acts affecting the volunteer fireman of Cecil County, Maryland, or any matter requiring legal advice that may be referred to them by this Association or the President. |
Public Information Education and Relations (PIER)
The PIER Committee publishes the activities of the Association as directed by vote of the membership. |
Recruitment
The Recruitment Committee consists of a representative from each company to coordinate the recruitment of personnel and promote volunteerism in the County. |
Safety
The Safety Committee is responsible for monitoring situations and issues within the Fire/EMS Industry, both locally and at the national level, that is in the best interest of the health and safety of the CCFA membership. |
Transportation
The Transportation Committee is responsible for assisting volunteers in obtaining Fire Company tags for their personal vehicles, collecting all fees for submission to the Motor Vehicle Administration and for keeping records of tags issued. |
Volunteer Length of Service Awards Program (VLOSAP)
The VLOSAP Committee administers the program as prescribed by law and adopted by state and county government. |
Volunteer Support Fund
The Volunteer Support Fund is responsible for monitoring situations and issues within the Fire/EMS Industry, both locally and at the national level, that is in the best interest of the health and safety of the CCFA membership.
